The We Care Clinic was established in 2017 and was formally launched in June of 2018. It was borne out of necessity and great need to establish a healthcare facility that caters to the community at large.

 

It is a nurse managed clinic that is intended to address the disparity in healthcare accessibility. According to WHO, the Philippines ranks as one of the most dismal countries in terms of doctor to patient ratio (1:33,000).

 

With the nurses leading the way, management of chronic diseases has a come a long way. Alongside doctors, nurses can do the following at the We Care Clinic:

1. BP monitoring

2. Discussion of Laboratory results to patients after doctor interpretation.

3. Wound care management

4. Education and implementation of preventative programs.
